He is also an SIOR dual specialist (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, specializing in both industrial and office facilities). As a member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers), he attends their deal making sessions each May – a forum for all national retail chains looking to expand into new markets.

Carl has a Bachelor of Business Administration/Finance and a BBA/Economics, both from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Carl was born and raised in Alaska and has been a top producer from the time he joined Jack White Commercial in 2003. Carl averages in excess of $80,000,000 worth of transactions annually in recent years with 2023 production being $117,000,000.
He has extensive experience in sales and leasing of office, retail, industrial, land and investment properties in Alaska, as well as site acquisition and asset stabilization for local and national clients including Santos, Calista Corporation, Bering Straits Native Corporation, Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corporation, Southcentral Foundation, Doyon, Doyon Drilling, JL Properties, Afognak Arctic Development, Chugach Alaska Corporation, Bethel Native Corporation, Kuukpik Corporation, Municipality of Anchorage, ACS Wireless, GCI, Northern Air Cargo, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Kimco, Holiday Companies, Hawkins Company, Saltchuk, State of Alaska and numerous other businesses.
Jill Hall
Jill Hall is Carl’s licensed business associate. Jill has 16 years of experience in commercial real estate. As a member of Carl’s team, Jill assists buyers in finding suitable investment/business properties, assists sellers in promoting their properties to attract qualified buyers, conducts property showings, coordinates exchange of ownership, drafts property documents and contracts, and assists with negotiations between buyers/sellers and landlords/tenants. Before starting her commercial real estate career, Jill was the operations manager for the largest real estate company in Alaska for 12 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma.
Shelley Kranda
Shelley Kranda is Carl's and Jill's licensed assistant. Shelley has 5 years of marketing experience which includes creating eye-catching visuals for marketing campaigns and helping clients successfully promote their business. With her experience in graphic design and photography she creates marketing materials for the team.
Nancy Johnson
Nancy Johnson has 41 years of commercial real estate experience and holds an Associate Broker license. Nancy has worked with Carl for 21 years. She has extensive experience in leasing, sales, title, and all aspects of commercial real estate and provides backup to the team.
